About
Human Medics

Human factors and non-technical skills are not particularly glamorous but they are important in ensuring safe patient care and maintaining personal wellbeing at work. I think new and nearly qualified doctors should know more about this. The aim of this project is to provide supplementary educational material to medical students and foundation doctors, relevant to preparing for your first days on the wards as FY1s, and beyond. I am currently a resident doctor - this website contains information I wish I’d known from the beginning, and I believe should be taught to all medial students. I’m not an expert - I am still learning as well - but I hope to share some useful tools with you!
